Vakula
Vakula was born in the 80’s in a small ancient town called Putivl in the north of Ukraine. His grandmother played a massive part in his musical education. His grandmother Lucy was a concert promoter and booked luminaries such as Quincy Jones to come and play in the tiny town; Putivl. Vakula was lucky enough to get some advice and inspiration towards his own path in music from none other than Quincy Jones.
After superb releases from Lerosa, Move D and Cassy, Vakula is the 4th artists who has released on London’s Uzuri Recordings. In addition a forthcoming EP will be released on Quintessentials later on this year.
