Skee Mask, Willow, Andrew Red Hand, Avakyan & Caspro

presented by EMS & meakusma

Yes, it’s tradition by now—April 30th. EMS and Meakusma. On the edge of nowhere, somewhere in Belgium. We are thrilled to announce a new edition, this time featuring Skee Mask, Willow, Andrew Red Hand, Avakyan, and Caspro.

“I felt myself on the edge of the world, peering over the rim into a fathomless chaos of eternal night.”
H. P. Lovecraft

Skee Mask is Bryan Müller from Munich. He has made a name for himself as an incredibly versatile producer of club music on the verge of techno, ambient techno, and Amen breaks. A Skee Mask DJ set is an experimental descent into the essence of exhilarating club music. Diverse, with a touch of epics. An unforgiving blast!

Willow, real name Sophie Wilson, is an extremely dynamic DJ from Manchester, now based in London. Her DJ sets are a testament to her unique perspective, honed by years of record collecting and an incredible ear for detail and function. Full of dubby textures, minimal patterns, and stripped-back influences, her sets play on the elemental foundations of house and techno music, while bringing in new influences all the time.

Andrew Red Hand was once defined by the late Aaron Carl as “the Romanian Underground Resistance himself”. Hailing from the town of Iasi, he is an unwavering militant of underground techno music. His blistering, mind-bending sets fuse an almost purist electro sound with techno, acid, EBM, industrial, and futuristic beats. His scorching raw analogue and searing acid electro or techno productions have been picked up by foundational Detroit labels as well as around the world. Andrew Red Hand is an experience!

Guevo Galestian is a local DJ known as Avakyan. Inspired by dub techno, Avakyan takes selection seriously, aiming to build harmonic sounds with subtle tension and depth.
For EMS, Caspro will be doing the DJ honours.

Work hard! Play Hard!

KIOSK RADIO x MEAKUSMA

Fresh off the release of Matthew Herbert and Momoko Gill’s collaborative Clay album, Kiosk Radio and Meakusma are thrilled to present the duo’s only Belgian concert this year, on August 1st in the Parc Royal in Brussels.

Clay, released in June 2025, is a thrilling sonic adventure that explores moments of dancefloor contemplation and early morning introspection through a fresh take on the deepest end of house music, and more, creating songs that ebb and flow across stylistic boundaries. Herbert creates rhythmic backdrops that surge into elation and surprise, with Momoko Gill’s dexterous melodic writing floating beautifully on top, her vocal contributions both intimate and uplifting. Clay is a dreamscape of intense beauty and engagement.

Live support comes from PiP × Ambroos De Schepper. They recently released the Sans Loup EP, an exploration of music that defies categorization. Based on improvisation, Sans Loup is all about texture, atmosphere, and ambiance; an exploration of space, field recordings, and musical signifiers.

DJ Support will come from Caspro, an amazing DJ based in the German-speaking part of Belgium who spins electro, techno, and house, while easily reaching beyond.

Doors at 18.00. Come early!

With the kind support of Ostbelgien

JakoJako, Quelza, Daniel(i), Gråzon & Residents

presented by EMS & meakusma

EMS and MEAKUSMA present JakoJako, Quelza, Daniel(i) and Gråzon for another party at the Twilight in Nidrum.

JakoJako – DJ (Leisure System, MUTE)
Quelza – DJ (Mord, Palinoia, Hayes, 47)
Daniel(i) -live (Whispering Signals, Kizen)
Gråzon – DJ (ÜV, Off the Radar)
Residents: Caspro, Herjodd, Salto Mortale (EMS)

Berlin-based synthesist and Berghain resident JakoJako made her recording debut on Leisure System in 2019 and has since released full albums, collaborative and solo, on Muzan Editions, Bigamo and WSNWG. Her Verve EP will be coming out on Mute on March 24th. Her work dwells on intricate soundscapes infused with ambient, electronica, atmospheric techno and melodic IDM. Dreamy with a lot of forward and forward-thinking momentum, JakoJako’s music focuses on the intrinsic possibilities within. Her DJ sets are sensuous, propulsive and transcendent onslaughts into techno and breakbeat territory, unafraid to mix in trance elements and moments of soundscape contemplation.

French producer Quelza, based in Berlin, is a craftsman of sophisticated dance music, producing hypnotic, sumptuous techno tracks infused with breakbeats, wayward moods and techno soul. With releases on labels such as Mord, Palinoia and 47, Quelza has made a name for himself as an unconventional, even thought-provoking techno artist that aims to break free of dance music stereotypes. His DJ sets are full of experiment, looking for a deeper and at times even more intimate take on driving and punishing beats and breakbeats. He is part of a young generation of techno producers and DJs that confront the genre with new ideas and perspectives.

Belgian producer Daniel(i) is now based in Germany and is known for running his own whispering signals label, next to releasing on Lowless Music, Pyramid Blood Recordings, etc. His musical output swerves around techno, dub techno, ambient and drone, making for a deep take on both the repetitive and meditative elements in his music. He is part of the NoName/La Nature crew that organises a yearly techno and more festival in the Belgian Ardennes.

Gråzon from Belgium is a DJ focused on the deeper end of both house and techno music. He runs the Off the Radar show on community radio Studio Néau.

Resident DJ action comes from EMS members Caspro, Herjodd and Salto Mortale
