PG Sounds

Hard-to-resist Latin acid shakedowns from PG Sounds aka SVN on his crew’s excellent SUED label outta Berlin. Both tracks are as simple and effective as you could hope for, knotting loosely Latinate drum shuffle with woozy, melting organ riffs and subtle electronic fizz, at best in the mesmerising, exotic B-side. In other hands this could be horrifically smug background bar music, but SVN/PG Sounds has the right measure of minimalist slink and grit to steer well clear of that bollix.
